About Tom Blackmore

Tom Blackmore founded Sharpe Blackmore in 1996. Within 15 years of its founding, it became one of the leading advertising firms in Canada. It accounts over those years and at present include Absolut, Air France, Dell, Ford, Hershey’s, Home Hardware, Intel, Kraft, New Balance, Pepsi, Red Lobster, Sprint, Volvo, Xerox and many more.

Currently, Mr. Blackmore serves as Chairman for ThinkCards, a company bringing new technologies from around the world to the credit cards industry. ThinkCards has developed a proprietary technology that can deliver a fully functioning credit card via a handheld device into a customer’s hands in less than four minutes – using no more than a scan of a drivers license.

Mr. Blackmore has also worked as Senior Vice-President at leading international advertising agency J. Walter Thompson (JWT) for almost seven years. At JWT, he launched its Promotions and Sponsorship group in Canada and ran the agency’s two biggest accounts: Ford and Pepsi. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario.
