Leila Bahreinian

Co-Founder and CEO at Meditus

From 2014 to 2018, Leila served as the Vice President, U.S., for Medicaroid Inc., where she led the global market entry for a surgical robotics joint venture between two publicly traded Japanese companies—Kawasaki (robotics) and Sysmex (medical device). Among her achievements is the establishment of a U.S. office, the recruitment and management of a high-performing team, creation of a world-class Clinical Board of Advisors (e.g., from Stanford, Harvard), and steady executive leadership through production-related constraints focused on voice of the customer. In 2007, Leila was recruited into a lead R&D role for Boston Scientific’s Neurovascular business. By 2011, she had been promoted to Senior Global Product Manager for the Access stroke-care franchise. Through these years, she was a member of leadership teams that played a vital role in the multimillion-dollar growth of the division.
