Demo Week is the culmination of The Entrepreneurship Hatchery NEST program, an intensive four-month process where student teams develop their startup ideas into commercial innovations. This is also an opportunity to give visibility to our LaunchLab and Go-To-Market companies that are in the path of scaling up and raising capital. Startup companies at the Hatchery are paired with an experienced advisory including mentors that are industry/technology experts as the Hatchery curates the business. Our promise continues to be the same – U of T students leave university not only with a degree but also with a job they have created themselves, thinking BIG, and having the mindset of an entrepreneur.
This year Demo Week is going to be virtual and the pitches will be pre-recorded and available for viewing through Pheedloop. Once you are registered for the event, you can log in at any time during the week of September 11th to view our teams’ pitches. On September 15th at 12pm Dean Christopher Yip will make a live online announcement of the startups invited to the Hatchery’s Go-To-Market stage.
