Want to learn more about The Hatchery experience? Are looking to start your own business and are unsure about how to go about it ?

Join us at The Hatchery Alumni Panel event, meet, network and hear first hand from The Hatchery Alumni about their experience. Discover more about how you can get involved with The Hatchery, and learn about the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur. If you are considering joining the Hatchery Nest 2018, this is the event to be at.

This event is hosted in collaboration with the Association of Chinese Engineers.

Panelist include:

Manmeet Maggu, co-founder of Trexo Robotics

Manmeet co-founded Trexo Robotics to help children like his nephew walk again. Now, his company makes robotic exoskeletons for children – like their own Iron Man suits – freeing them from life in a wheelchair. Manmeet graduated from U of T’s Rotman School of Management in 2017, and launched his startup with co-founder Rahul Udasi through the Hatchery NEST program in 2016.

Luna Yu, co-founder of Genecis

Commercial kitchens waste 1.3 tonnes of food on average every week. Luna’s startup Genecis intends to change that by collecting the foodscraps and converting it into useful products such as biodegradable plastics, biofuels, and pharmaceuticals. Luna and her teammates launched Genecis through the NEST program in 2017, and won the $5000 second-place RBC Prize for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
