Richard Helbig

In 1973 Richard obtained a B.A.Sc. degree at the University of Toronto in Geological Engineering, followed six years later by an MBA from the Harvard Business School. During a career spanning 40 years he has worked around the world for CIBC, The Boston Consulting Group and Merrill Lynch out of Toronto, New York, Munich and Moscow where, in 1992 he co-founded Price, Helbig & Company. He spent over a decade working in Russia on the conversion of Russian banks and industrial enterprises from state to private ownership, and played a role in the establishment of the first American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. Along the way he has been a Director of Canadian, Russian and Chinese companies as well as founder of several gold, oil and iron companies with discoveries in Guyana, S. America.
