Michael Paszti

Michael Paszti leads Terrapure’s business development and innovation activities. He is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the company’s current lines of business, as well as expand into new areas. Strategic fit, technology, the business environment, and socio-economic factors are all critical considerations in assessing growth opportunities. Prior to joining Terrapure, Michael was Chief Operating Officer of a major North American renewable fuel producer, where he built the team and successfully launched the business. He also has a decade of experience at Darling Ingredients Inc. (formerly Rothsay), working on biofuel, waste-to-energy and sustainability projects in increasingly senior roles, and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Michael is a P. Eng., holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering (Chemical) from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto).

Millie Liu

Millie Liu has focused her career on helping entrepreneurs with deep technology turn their ideas into great businesses with global reach. She was previously at APT, an enterprise data analytics startup acquired by Mastercard for $600m where she helped Fortune 50 clients such as Walmart and P&G make better strategic decisions leveraging data. She was also the co-founder of an MIT startup working on unsupervised event detection, which later pivoted and became Infervision, an AI precision healthcare platform backed by Sequoia China. Millie is on the advisory board of MIT CSAIL (Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab). She holds a Master of Finance degree from MIT and B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Toronto.
